Bishop Dr. Oliver Subryan is a scholar in his own right. He received a Doctor of Ministry in Theological Studies from CICA-International University and Seminary in New York in November 2017; Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee; and a Bachelor of Theology from Bethel Bible College in Jamaica, graduating with honors and receiving the Valedictorian Award. He is also a graduate of Cyril Potter College of Education in Guyana and was honored with the Guyana Teachers’ Association Award in 1981 and the Cyril Potter College of Education Most Outstanding Student Award in 1982.

Bishop’s education, experience, and love for the Lord equipped him to serve as the former National Christian Education Director for the Church of God in Guyana and pastored seven different churches in Guyana, Jamaica, and the United States. He also recently served as the District Overseer for the Central District of churches in the Delmarva region.

Bishop Subryan is presently the Administrator for the Churches of God in St. Martin and the Christian Education Director for USVI and St. Martin. He is the Pastor of Ebenezer Church of God in Hyattsville, Maryland and the founder and principal of Ebenezer Bible Institute, a school dedicated to the training of young ministers since 1995.

Bishop Dr. Oliver Subryan is married to the Rev. Dr. Rose Subryan and the father of a wonderful daughter, Sherona. He is a significant voice for Christianity in this generation.
